Requirements

Minimum 2 years of underground mining or construction experience
Experience with formwork, concrete placement, and shotcrete applications
Strong understanding of underground construction practices
Ability to work safely in a production mining environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Physically capable of performing demanding underground work
Commitment to safety and continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

Experience operating jacklegs, pneumatic drills, and underground construction equipment
Underground mine rescue or emergency response training
Valid driver's licence
Experience on development, rehabilitation, or mine construction projects

Responsibilities

Support underground construction and development activities including: Concrete placement and finishing, Formwork construction and installation, Shotcrete application and support activities, Installation of underground infrastructure and services, Operation of construction tools and equipment, Ground support and rehabilitation projects, Material handling and site preparation, Conducting workplace inspections and hazard assessments, Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, Working collaboratively with supervisors, operators, and tradespeople.
