About The Position
SCR Mining and Tunnelling is seeking experienced and safety-focused Construction Miners to join their underground mining operations team at Bissett, Manitoba. This is a full-time role with a 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off Rotation. Camp accommodation and meals are provided. The company is known for offering complete mining solutions and high-quality services, and they are looking for individuals who share their energy, commitment to safety, and enthusiasm.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an underground construction miner
- Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application
Nice To Haves
- Trade certification in carpentry
- Experience in concrete preparation and placement
Responsibilities
- Construct, install, maintain, and repair structures within a mining environment
- Follow daily line-ups, safety procedures, and Manitoba Regulation 212/2011 – Operation of Mines Regulation
- Support construction projects through reliable equipment maintenance
- Always be physically and mentally fit for work
- Follow directives from shift supervisors
