About The Position

Kleinfelder's Construction Services team is looking for experienced Construction Materials Testing Technicians to join their team in Cerritos and Ontario, CA. This role involves performing construction observation and materials testing on various projects to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications. The company is a recognized industry leader with over 25 accredited laboratories, focusing on construction management, observation/inspection services, laboratory testing, and materials and forensic engineering to develop and maintain infrastructure. Requirements

  • 1+ year of soil and concrete testing experience
  • ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade 1 certification
  • Radiation safety training for the operation of a nuclear density gauge
  • Must have own vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and/or Live Scan fingerprinting based on specific project requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Must be able to use a computer and have a general knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and photo management software
  • Ability to learn and grow with technological demands pertaining to daily field reports and field data

Responsibilities
