We are seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician to join our team in Fishers, Indiana. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • No prior laboratory experience is required.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to read, understand, and apply testing procedures, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate records and testing documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Willingness to learn new testing methods, equipment, and industry standards.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ability to lift and move testing materials and equipment and perform tasks that may require standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in a scientific, technical, engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of laboratory tests on concrete, soil, and asphalt materials in accordance with established procedures, project requirements, and applicable industry standards.
  • Prepare, handle, and process samples for testing while maintaining accurate records and documentation of results.
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory testing equipment under the direction of laboratory leadership.
  • Follow detailed testing procedures and specifications to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test data.
  • Assist with quality control activities by identifying, reporting, and documenting any irregularities or non-conforming test results.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment while adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff, engineers, and project teams to support testing needs and project deadlines.
  • Receive training and guidance to develop proficiency in concrete, soils, and asphalt testing methods and laboratory best practices.
