About The Position

Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company, has an immediate opening for a construction materials testing Lab Technician in Las Vegas, Nevada. Duties will include performing lab testing, the maintenance of laboratory equipment, data files, reports, letters, and other pertinent field data. The successful candidate will also maintain clear communications with the Project Manager / Supervisor regarding all aspects of the lab operations, such as providing neat and orderly project documents.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of previous asphalt, aggregate, and/or concrete testing experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work independently
• Good organizational skills
• Strong work ethic
• Valid driver's license
• Good driving record

• ACI Concrete Strength certification
• ACI Aggregate Testing certification
• NAQTC Sampling & Density (SD) certification
• NAQTC Aggregate (AG) certification
• NAQTC Asphalt (AS) certification
