About The Position

Kleinfelder's Construction Services team is looking for a Construction Materials and Geotechnical Testing Laboratory Technician to perform inspection duties on a large scale/multiyear project in the vicinity of the Indianapolis, IN metropolitan area. This role involves performing routine to complex testing for construction materials and geotechnical testing in the field laboratory to verify conformance to standards and specifications. Requirements

1-3 years of construction materials laboratory testing experience
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.

Responsibilities

Performing concrete cylinder compression testing
Following proper procedures and standards
Performing daily routine testing of construction materials and geotechnical samples
Performing accurate computations
Maintaining cordial relationships with co-workers, clients, contractors, etc.
Preparation of daily reports and data sheets
May be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor
