About The Position

Manage planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from pre-construction through project close-out. Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum five years of experience in construction management, site supervision, or project coordination on medium to large projects.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Experience in preparing and managing budgets, schedules, and procurement activities.
  • Familiarity with building codes, construction regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency with construction project management software and standard office applications; ability to travel between sites and work flexible hours as required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust plans to meet milestones and deadlines.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, track costs, and implement cost-control measures.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and on-site personnel to ensure work is completed to specification.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable regulations.
  • Oversee site safety and quality control processes, conduct inspections, and address non-conformances.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and stakeholders; prepare progress reports and documentation.
