The Construction Manager will approach each project with an engineering perspective to fully understand the intended and document end product. This role involves coordinating and participating in design process efforts, managing in-house construction crews and outside contractors, and researching architectural and engineering aspects of projects. The Construction Manager will identify suitable partners, manage the bidding phase, perform scope analysis, negotiate and issue contracts, and create and manage project budgets in close communication with the Finance department. This role also involves controlling and forecasting project costs, managing schedules, resolving changes, reviewing costs, managing submittals, RFIs, warranties, and regulatory requirements, and processing contractor pay requests. Building and maintaining positive relationships with various stakeholders, including design professionals, contractors, team members, and city/state agencies, is crucial. The role also includes mentoring and training associates and performing additional duties as assigned.
