About The Position

Communication Technology Services (CTS) is a leading integrator and managed service provider for enterprise cellular networks in the U.S., specializing in the design, installation, and support of Distributed Antenna System (DAS), Small Cell, and 4G/5G Private Wireless Networks for Enterprise. We are seeking a Construction Manager in the Northern California region who is ready to advance their career in wireless technology. The Construction Manager will oversee the daily management of installation work at customer locations and job sites, ensuring field crews and technicians complete assigned tasks safely and to CTS's quality and professional standards. This includes managing subcontractors and vendors to ensure they meet or exceed CTS standards for safety and quality. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a professional demeanor, committed to industry leadership in their daily actions. This position will cover work in Northern California and may require travel throughout the state.

Requirements

  • Experience installing and managing Distributed Antenna System (DAS) and Public Safety installations builds.
  • Ability to read blueprints and Visio & iBwave drawings.
  • Ability to determine Bill of Materials (BoM) and order project materials.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and crews simultaneously.
  • Experience creating project schedules and tracking/communicating daily progress with customers and senior management.
  • Experience conducting site surveys and the ability to scope and quote.
  • Proficiency in producing fiber diagrams and rack elevations.
  • Thorough understanding of Fiber Optics construction, Splicing and OTDR.
  • Hands-on experience with Spectrum Analyzer (Anritsu), Signal Generator, and similar test equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with PIM / RL Sweep testing, including knowledge to read sweeps and manage test results.

Responsibilities

  • Create project schedules.
  • Track and communicate daily progress with customers and senior management.
  • Conduct site surveys and scope/quote projects.
  • Prepare project closeout packages and submit them to the customer.
  • Monitor and document safety compliance.
  • Perform QA/QC of all assigned projects to meet CTS standards.
  • Provide weekly reports/updates on the financial status of all projects.
