Requirements

Four (4) year degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management, or related field and three (3) years of relevant Construction Management experience OR Additional three (3) years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification (within last five years) or ability to maintain within 90 days of hire
Experience supporting phased construction to maintain hospital operations
Experience supporting commissioning
Familiarity with engineering and construction standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, and Pennsylvania Building Code
U.S. Citizenship is required for this Federal contract
Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust (requires Federal background check and fingerprinting)
Ability to work full-time onsite in Pittsburgh, PA
Ability to support after-hours work as required

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting IT/low-voltage infrastructure projects
Experience supporting healthcare infrastructure projects
Experience working in active hospital environments to include implementing infection control procedures

Responsibilities

Provide construction-phase oversight support
Track and monitor submittals and RFIs
Review submittals and provide written recommendations
Monitor construction schedule and progress
Perform construction inspections
Document deficiencies and track corrective actions
Monitor long-lead items
Review and verify as-built documentation
Support testing and commissioning activities
Prepare and submit daily inspection reports
Participate in project meetings
Work shall be performed onsite and may require approximately 60 after-hours days per year to align with contractor operations.
