Requirements

15 - 20 years supervisory or equivalent experience in concrete and forming
Engineering or Construction related degree/diploma, or an equivalent work experience
Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); company policies, procedures and standards, union jurisdiction, labor agreements and negotiations essential
Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills
Experienced in managing and developing a team

Responsibilities

Accountable for overall project performance of the portfolio of ED Forming projects across Western Canada
Oversee the design, construction, and warranty handover of projects to ensure projects are completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule objectives
Manage, mentor & develop ED Forming Project Managers, Coordinators, Superintendents, etc.
Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required
Develop and maintain pre-construction schedules, baseline construction schedules, procurement schedules, commissioning and PDI schedules
Plan, coordinate and/or supervise activities of all company personnel on assigned project(s)
Work closely with Health & Safety to ensure EllisDon's best safety practices are being followed on all sites
Lead and develop area initiatives and best practices that align with the business goals
Conduct productivity analyses across ED Forming projects
Be involved in the forecasting & hiring of new salaried staff for ED Forming
