About The Position
Hatch is hiring Construction Managers for its Project Delivery Group. The role is responsible for executing project assignments, coordinating and managing engineering and construction services, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Construction Managers lead assigned projects, support client satisfaction with scope and schedule, and oversee construction management services for heavy industrial projects.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Construction Management.
Nice To Haves
- Heavy industrial experience.
- Extensive site-based, multi-discipline construction management experience on large-scale EPCM and EPC projects.
- Bachelor’s or Technical Degree.
Responsibilities
- Ensure construction activities are completed satisfactorily and in accordance with the project schedule.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Manage Field Representatives and Project Managers.
- Review shop drawings, render design drawings, and supervise the build phase.
- Troubleshoot all phases of heavy construction and operations work.
- Schedule, run, and attend job meetings.
- Generate pay applications, work directives, change orders, cost summary estimates, bid tabs, and project cost schedules.
- Schedule contractors and required equipment.
- Oversee onsite quality, including inspecting work, signing off, reviewing subcontractors’ QA/QC programs, and coordinating with subcontractors’ Quality supervisors.
- Resolve onsite questions using judgment to determine whether engineering input is required.
- Communicate onsite engineering questions to project management as needed.
