About The Position

AECOM is actively seeking a Construction Manager for immediate employment in Austin, Texas or San Antonio, TX. This role provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies and establishes procedures that affect the immediate organization. The Construction Manager works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of a situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends. They act as an advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems, and may have budget responsibilities. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results can add to costs and may impact short-term goals of the organization. This role oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle, including technical, financial, and client satisfaction aspects. The Construction Manager is accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of planning, design, and/or construction management activities and personnel under their direction on a day-to-day basis.

Requirements

BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
MVR check required.

Nice To Haves

15 years' experience with TxDOT highway and bridge projects.
TxDOT precertification as a Construction Superintendent.
TxDOT certifications in EMS, ACI and TxAPA Level 1B.
Ability to manage personnel and fleet vehicles.
