About The Position

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a Construction Manager to help develop and deliver transit systems and public infrastructure. This role involves transforming how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed, focusing on smarter, safer, and more sustainable methods. You will work with a team of project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists who combine real-world experience with digital innovation and AI. The goal is to build what's next and outperform industry norms. Depending on the role and location, applications may be directed through different Accenture legal entities, with benefits varying by country and role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration or another related field
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Construction Management on transit projects of at least $30 million
  • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in the management of major construction contracts of similar size and scope
  • Valid California Class C driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EV charging infrastructure projects is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety of Client employees, State employees, and Contractor employees at all times.
  • Act as the Owner’s representative in all matters related to the project.
  • Oversee and manage all project staff, daily field and office activities, and all ancillary functions of the project.
  • Support Client executive management in the execution of the project.
  • Monitor the project schedule and budget, reporting as required to Client executive leadership.
  • Manage the project to maintain quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Assist in the oversight of all engineering, construction, quality, safety, environmental, third-party, and community outreach functions.
  • Represent the Client in the community and with public agencies.
  • Maintain the project safety culture and provide oversight to ensure zero lost-time incidents on the project.
  • Protect the interests of the traveling public and the Client at all times.
  • Ensure conformance with all Client contract documents.
  • Perform constructability reviews and provide comments on design packages.
