About The Position

Seeking a Construction Manager II (CM2) to perform construction inspection and construction management duties on assigned projects. This role involves leading project inspections on multiple projects, directing inspectors and field staff, and collaborating with engineers and clients during construction. The position requires the ability to understand budgets and cost assignments, complete daily construction reports, and assist the Construction Manager as needed. The role also includes attending outside training such as OSHA and ACI, and performing all duties of a Construction Manager I.

Requirements

2 - 6 Years’ Experience
Bachelor’s degree from accredited college in Engineering or Construction Management and Engineering in Training or Construction Management Manager in Training (EIT or CMIT) from the appropriate state agency or CMAA or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment, or equivalent experience.
Valid Driver’s License
Able to use Microsoft Programs and others as assigned
Willing to Travel
Must be able to read plans and specifications.
Good Communication skills
Ability to understand budgets and cost assignments.

Responsibilities

Perform Construction Inspection and Construction Management duties on projects assigned.
Lead project inspection on multiple projects.
Direct inspectors and field staff.
Work with Engineers on projects during construction.
Communicate with Clients, Contractor and Engineers.
Complete Daily Construction Reports and other documentation as assigned by Construction Manager.
Assist Construction Manager as assigned.
Attend outside training – OSHA, ACI, Etc.
Perform all duties of Construction Manager 1.
