About The Position

TRC, Member of WSP, is seeking highly motivated and diverse Construction Management Interns for its Summer 2027 internship program. This paid, full-time position is based in the Rancho Cordova, California office, with an anticipated duration from June through August 2027; timing is flexible. The internship may lead to a full-time role after graduation. The intern will work under the supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders and partner with engineers, scientists, and technologists. Interns will be supported by leaders, mentors, and teammates. Applicants who apply are also automatically considered for Summer Internship Program openings at more than 150 U.S. locations. The hourly salary range is $20.00–$28.00. Compensation varies based on experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Interns and trainees receive benefits in accordance with the laws of their state or country of residence.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Pursuing a bachelor's or associate degree in Construction Management or a related field.
Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Solid technical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Honest, fun, hard-working, and ready to learn and grow.

Nice To Haves

Experience with engineering software applications such as AutoCAD, MathCAD, ESRI, HydroCAD, WaterCAD, or ArcView GIS.

Responsibilities

Support project tasks, including regulatory requirements and review estimates, research, and procurement support.
Perform data entry, data management, data evaluation, and data presentation.
Support preparation of client reports, plans, and specifications.
Work on field assignments as needed.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as necessary.
