About The Position

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a motivated student for a full-time, hands-on Construction Management Internship for Summer 2027. The internship provides real-world exposure to construction projects and day-to-day construction management operations. Interns will support and learn from experienced Construction Managers under the supervision of a technical manager, with a dedicated supervisor and mentor and participation in planned program activities. The role offers experience on active construction projects while developing technical, organizational, and professional skills for a career in construction management. The internship is a 40-hour-per-week opportunity lasting at least 10 weeks between mid-May and the end of August. KCI is a 100% employee-owned engineering, consulting, and construction firm serving clients throughout the United States. Requirements

Currently enrolled in a college construction management or related program.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to pass and maintain required certifications.
Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.
Motor vehicle checks may be required based on the position.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and design engineers.
Complete assigned tasks on time, within budget, and in accordance with the project scope.
Maintain document control for correspondence, RFIs, submittals, and other project-related documents.
Learn to read and understand plans and specifications, including the construction contractor's means and methods.
Learn to test, document, and ensure the quality of the contractor's work in accordance with project and industry standards.
Complete other duties as required or assigned.
