About The Position

Rohadfox Construction Management is seeking a Construction Logistical Specialist (also known as ARM Terminal Roadway and ASR Assistant) for their client in West Los Angeles. This role is responsible for maintaining CALM processes and workflows to ensure timely and accurate communication of activity-related data to all project teams and stakeholders. The specialist will collaborate with the CALM Team, prepare and distribute workshop and meeting materials, track requests, document meeting minutes, coordinate meetings, and streamline processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 15 years of professional experience; graduate degree may substitute for one year of experience.
  • Problem solver with a strong ability to prioritize and switch gears in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working within the complexities of multiple agencies at all levels.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Geared to share information and communicate with team members.
  • A general understanding of civil construction.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher, Access and PowerPoint), Adobe Illustrator, Bluebeam.
  • Ability to create dashboards, presentations, graphics, Gantt charts and track multiple ongoing activities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, aviation, business, engineering, construction management, planning or other related technical field required.
  • Must pass a federal background check.
  • Must live within commuting distance of the LAX Airport.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Relevant professional licensure &/or certifications are strongly preferred. Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Attends Terminal, roadway, and airfield project meetings to assess time and space schedule impacts across the CIP program.
  • Reviews new projects for time and space conflicts, impacts to ongoing construction projects, and operational impacts.
  • Conducts reviews of projects’ submittals, Phasing Plan, and Site Logistics Plans, as submitted through the ASR and LIR process.
  • Comments on and schedules site walks as needed.
  • Leads assessments of program logistics and creates reports and communication regarding logistics on multiple projects.
  • Actively oversees ongoing logistics and changes.
