Requirements

  • 3-5 years of construction law or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong references.
  • Superb written and oral communication skills.
  • WA Bar membership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in preparing and negotiating construction contracts, change orders, and other construction-related agreements is beneficial.
  • Prior AmLaw 100 experience.
  • Judicial clerkship experience.

Responsibilities

  • Litigating all types of construction disputes, including delay and disruption claims, payment disputes such as mechanic’s lien, bond, and stop notice claims, and breach of contract claims.
  • Preparing and negotiating construction contracts, change orders, and other construction-related agreements.
