About The Position

Perkins Coie, LLP, a leading international law firm and one of Fortune’s Best Places to Work, is seeking a Construction Litigation Associate Attorney to support its nationally recognized construction law practice. The group's core practice areas include counseling, dispute resolution, and contract drafting and negotiation. The position will involve litigating various construction disputes and also include transactional work related to construction contracts.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of construction law or equivalent experience.
  • Experience litigating all types of construction disputes, including delay and disruption claims, payment disputes such as mechanic’s lien, bond, and stop notice claims, and breach of contract claims.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong references.
  • Superb written and oral communication skills.
  • CA Bar membership is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in preparing and negotiating construction contracts, change orders, and other construction-related agreements.
  • Prior AmLaw 100 experience.
  • Judicial clerkship experience.
