About The Position

Nelson Mullins is seeking an experienced Junior Construction Litigation Partner to join its Construction Law & Litigation group in Florida, specifically in the Orlando office. This role offers a unique opportunity within an AmLaw100 firm, joining a dynamic team and a growing office in one of the fastest-growing cities in the country. The position involves litigation, claims analysis and risk management, and work on large-scale infrastructure programs and projects, including procurement, contracting, and claims.

Requirements

• At least 10 - 20 years of Construction Litigation Experience
• Demonstrated ability to take complex cases from start to finish through all forms of dispute resolution, including trial experience
• Valuable court hearing experience, preferably dispositive motion practice
• Ability to analyze complex fact patterns to applicable case and statutory law, to develop a case for litigation and trial
• Demonstrated deposition experience, preferably involving the taking and defending of key fact witnesses and expert witnesses
• Demonstrated experience in various modes of dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of attorneys
• Admitted to and in Good Standing with the Florida Bar
