About The Position

Kubicki Draper is seeking an associate attorney to join its litigation practice. The role may be based at any of the firm’s Florida offices and follows a hybrid schedule. The attorney will handle litigation matters, including drafting and reviewing substantive pleadings and motions, responding to motions and discovery, and attending or chairing hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings. The role also involves negotiating settlements and communicating effectively with team members and clients.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Membership in the Florida Bar and good standing.
• Strong legal research and excellent writing skills.
• Strong and persuasive oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to provide excellent client service with a client-first mindset.
• Highly organized, with a clear and concise communication style.
• Self-starter and goal-oriented, with a focus on long-term career goals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Competence and proficiency with Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in construction defect litigation is highly desired.
