Construction Litigation Attorney
About The Position
Nelson Mullins is looking to add an experienced Junior Construction Litigation Partner to join its Construction Law & Litigation group in Florida, located in the Orlando office. As an AmLaw100 firm, this will offer a unique opportunity to an attorney who wants to be part of a dynamic team and a growing office. You will be joining a knowledgeable team involved in litigation, claims analysis and risk management, and large-scale infrastructure programs and projects (procurement, contracting, and claims).
Requirements
- At least 10 - 20 years of Construction Litigation Experience
- Demonstrated ability to take complex cases from start to finish through all forms of dispute resolution, including trial experience.
- Valuable court hearing experience, preferably dispositive motion practice.
- Demonstrated deposition experience, preferably involving the taking and defending of key fact witnesses and expert witnesses.
- Demonstrated experience in various modes of dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Applicants must be admitted to and in Good Standing with the Florida Bar.
Responsibilities
- Take complex cases from start to finish through all forms of dispute resolution, including trial experience.
- Analyze complex fact patterns to applicable case and statutory law, to develop a case for litigation and trial.
- Lead and mentor a team of attorneys.
