About The Position

Skillforce is hiring Construction Laborers for ongoing project work on commercial construction jobsites in the Greenville, South Carolina area. The role supports carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades with material handling, site cleanup, staging, light demolition, and other daily tasks. Laborers use basic hand and power tools under the direction of a crew lead and must follow jobsite safety rules and wear required PPE. The position pays $20.00 to $22.00 per hour depending on experience, skill set, and certifications, with W-2 employment and weekly pay. The schedule is Monday through Friday on a morning shift, with daytime hours on commercial projects.

Requirements

Previous experience working on construction jobsites; commercial work is preferred.
Own PPE, including a hard hat, safety glasses, a high-visibility vest, and work boots.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to jobsites around the Greenville area.
Ability to lift heavy materials and stay on your feet outdoors in changing weather.
Comfortable taking direction from a crew lead and working as part of a team.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

OSHA 10, OSHA 30, or other safety certifications.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, and move building materials, tools, and equipment around the jobsite.
Keep work areas, walkways, and laydown areas clean and clear of debris.
Support carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades with daily tasks.
Assist with light demolition, site cleanup, and material staging.
Carry and stage material on each floor or work area so trades can keep moving.
Set up and take down barricades, signage, and floor protection.
Use basic hand and power tools under the direction of the crew lead.
Follow jobsite safety rules and wear required PPE at all times.
