About The Position

TerraFirma is hiring a Construction Laborer to help prepare trucks and equipment for job sites, perform hands-on installation work, and return equipment in good condition. The laborer works alongside an experienced crew and receives industry-leading training, tools, and equipment. The role involves physical construction work, including digging, backfilling, carrying materials, assisting with installations, and cleaning job sites. Work takes place outdoors in all weather and in confined areas such as crawlspaces and basements. The position requires safe, reliable work and responsible operation of TerraFirma vehicles.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in construction or a related trade is preferred.
Comfortable working in confined spaces, including crawlspaces and basements, for extended periods.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and willing to assist with heavier loads as part of a team.
Familiarity with construction tools, equipment, and safety practices.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Must meet company vehicle insurance requirements.

Nice To Haves

A commercial driver’s license (CDL).
High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of construction or related-trade experience.

Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks with materials, tools, and equipment as directed by the Foreman.
Perform hands-on labor, including digging, backfilling trenches, and cleaning job sites.
Assist with product installations under the Foreman’s direction and follow approved methods.
Carry and deliver materials weighing up to 50 pounds to and from job sites.
Work safely in small or enclosed spaces such as crawlspaces and basements.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
Operate TerraFirma vehicles safely and responsibly.
Show up consistently and reliably for the crew.
