About The Position

Orkin is hiring a Construction Laborer to inspect and install pest and home protection systems, including attic remediation, crawlspace encapsulation, insulation, and radiant barrier solutions. The role involves hands-on work on a crew, light carpentry, customer communication, equipment upkeep, and completing reports with a handheld device. Orkin provides paid training and the tools and technology needed for the work. Candidates do not need prior pest control experience, but must be able to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience using a metal brake to bend or shape metal components.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days; company-paid training is provided.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces.
• Wear personal protective equipment, including an OSHA-compliant respirator, as required.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.
• Team player with a positive, professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule.
• Comfort working in varying weather conditions, confined spaces, and on roofs.

• Construction, roofing, HVAC, or maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
