About The Position

Heimes Corporation is seeking qualified personnel to assist directional drilling crews in placing fiber optic and coax underground, pipelaying crews to place water storm and sanitary main in the ground, and crushing crews to assist in maintenance and the operation of crushing equipment. Heimes Corporation is a construction company based out of Omaha, Nebraska, providing a wide range of services including excavating, underground utilities, recycled concrete, plumbing, directional drilling, fiber splicing, underground storage tanks, wrecking, transportation, and hazardous materials cleanup/hauling (ESI). Immediate full-time positions are available for laborers in assisting our directional drilling, pipe, and crushing divisions.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must abide by DOT regulations.
• Must be able to speak and understand the English language.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and abide by DOT regulations.
• Zero tolerance policy for cell phone use while behind the wheel (including hands free devices).
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and abide by DOT regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working construction is preferred.
• A valid driver's license with a good driving record is preferred.
• Heavy equipment operating experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist directional drilling crews in placing fiber optic and coax underground.
