About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on, skilled Construction Laborer with experience in drywall, painting, flooring, and carpentry to join our team. This role requires a physically active professional who is comfortable working on-site, using tools, and directly contributing to the success of each project. The ideal candidate has their own tools, knowledge of how to use them, and a strong work ethic to get the job done efficiently and safely. This is a boots-on-the-ground role for someone who enjoys being deeply involved in the construction process, taking pride in craftsmanship, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in drywall, painting, flooring, and carpentry.
  • Must have own tools and know how to use them safely and effectively.
  • Ability to read measurements, follow project plans, and complete tasks independently.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to handle physical labor in a fast-paced construction setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to customer service.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve when issues arise on the job site.
  • Physical ability to perform the tasks required, including standing, climbing, and lifting heavy equipment.
  • Travel is required and you must be willing to travel for this role.
  • Reliable transportation to job sites
  • OSHA-10 certification or ability to obtain it within a specified time frame.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR and ability to pass a background check.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on construction work including drywall installation, painting, flooring, carpentry, framing, and finishing work.
  • Perform demolition, material installation, and general repair work as needed.
  • Measure, mark, and prepare materials for skilled tasks such as cutting wood, installing trim, and patching drywall.
  • Assist in laying out and preparing work areas, ensuring accurate setup before work begins.
  • Unload, move, and distribute materials such as lumber, flooring, and paint to designated work areas.
  • Operate and maintain hand and power tools, ensuring safe and efficient use on the job site.
  • Erect scaffolding, install temporary barriers, and set up workstations for different phases of construction.
  • Clean and prepare work areas, equipment, and tools at the end of each day.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure job efficiency and quality standards.
  • Ensure worksite safety, complying with OSHA standards and maintaining a clean environment.
