About The Position

PuroClean of Charleston is seeking a Construction Laborer to assist customers recovering from water damage, fire damage, and mold. This is a hands-on field role supporting the Truck Lead. While restoration certifications are not required, dependability, physical capability, and the ability to take direction are essential. The company emphasizes integrity, reliability, and work ethic, and is a veteran-owned operation.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Comfortable with physical labor in real-world environments (heat, humidity, tight spaces)
• Calm, respectful presence in customer homes and commercial sites
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Willing to complete a background check upon a conditional offer
• Willing and able to perform hard physical labor (lifting, carrying, demo work)

• Recent college graduates with local connections in Charleston
• Veterans and candidates with disciplined backgrounds
• Any related background is helpful (moving/pack-outs, construction, demolition, detailing, car wash, warehouse, general labor)

Responsibilities

• Assist with water mitigation, demolition (cut-out drywall, remove wet materials), cleanup, and site prep
• Set up and move restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, containment materials)
• Help with pack-outs/contents handling and jobsite organization
• Follow PPE and jobsite safety standards
• Support job documentation as instructed (photos, basic notes, measurements)
• Maintain a clean, professional jobsite and respectful customer interactions
