This position involves performing tasks requiring physical labor at commercial construction sites, operating various hand and power tools, cleaning and preparing sites, digging trenches, erecting and breaking down scaffolding, and assisting craft workers as needed.
Requirements
- Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and/or written instruction
- Must be in good physical condition in order to push, pull, carry objects and perform other tasks as assigned.
- Proper and safe use of equipment, materials and supplies used in heavy construction work.
- Various building types and construction methods.
Responsibilities
- Performs tasks involving physical labor at commercial construction sites.
- Operates a variety of hand and power tools.
- Cleans and prepares sites, digs trenches, erects and breaks down scaffolding
- Assists craft workers as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
