Construction Intern - AECOM Hunt
About The Position
AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Intern for its Indianapolis, Indiana location, with the position expected to begin in Summer 2027. The internship provides a broad, well-rounded learning experience in construction management and related work. Interns gain hands-on exposure to construction management and infrastructure projects, technology, industry practices, and collaboration with experienced professionals while developing technical and professional skills. The intern performs assignments intended to develop professional knowledge and abilities, applying standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Work is carried out under instructions from senior staff and must meet required schedules and quality expectations. AECOM Hunt is an Indianapolis-founded construction management organization with experience across industries including sports, aviation, hospitality, transportation, healthcare, and academic buildings.
Requirements
- Be pursuing an associate’s degree in construction management or a similar discipline.
- Have completed at least one year of study.

- Experience working for a general contractor.
- Previous relevant internship experience.
- Exposure to construction-based computer programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
