About The Position

We are excited to offer a Construction Internship for students eager to gain real-world experience and learn about the general contracting and construction industry. Interns work alongside experienced professionals, support active projects, and develop skills to launch a career in construction. The role assists different departments with daily tasks while learning the fundamentals of project management and jobsite operations. The internship provides hands-on experience, exposure to different areas of construction, and mentorship and guidance from an assigned project team.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with others.
• Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and Zoom.
• Comfort with desk and computer-based work, visiting job sites and walking 2–3 miles daily, climbing stairs, ladders, and scaffolding when needed, occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds, and commuting to job sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Support the project team with project management activities, including scheduling, budgeting, billing and documentation, and account management.
• Assist estimators with various parts of the bid process.
• Help coordinate subcontractors and vendors.
• Learn how construction projects are planned, managed, and executed from start to finish.
