D.R. Horton, Inc. is hiring a Construction Intern for its Summer 2027 internship program. The program provides students with hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to career opportunities at D.R. Horton, its affiliated business functions, and across the homebuilding and homebuying process. Interns are assigned to a primary department or functional area and may gain experience through departmental rotations, project work, administrative support, research, reporting, training, office and field-based activities, jobsite observation, systems support, and other learning opportunities based on departmental needs, location, and business priorities. The intern supports daily operations and assigned projects and business needs, learns the department’s responsibilities and applicable company systems, policies, safety requirements, and procedures, and collaborates with colleagues across functions. Interns participate in training, meetings, rotations, and other learning opportunities, while exploring career options that may lead to full-time employment after graduation. The position requires a professional, ethical, and respectful approach. Overtime and travel, including occasional overnight travel, may be required as business needs dictate. Work setting and physical requirements vary by assignment and location.
