D.R. Horton is hiring a Construction Intern for its Summer 2027 internship program. The program provides students with hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to career opportunities within D.R. Horton, its affiliated business functions, and the homebuilding and homebuying process. Interns are assigned to a primary department or functional area and may gain experience through departmental rotations, project work, administrative support, research, reporting, training, office and field-based activities, jobsite observation, systems support, and other learning opportunities based on departmental needs, location, and business priorities. The intern supports the assigned department or business function, learns relevant responsibilities and procedures, and collaborates with colleagues across the company. Assignments and physical requirements vary by department and location and may involve office, field, or jobsite activities. The role may require overtime and occasional overnight travel as business needs require. The internship is intended to help participants explore career opportunities that may lead to full-time employment after graduation.
