Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in heavy civil construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in both office and field settings.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with procurement activities.
  • Supporting survey and layout operations.
  • Assisting project safety professionals with safety-related initiatives and documentation.
  • Reading and interpreting construction plans and drawings.
  • Drafting and preparing project submittals.
  • Supporting Foremen and Superintendents with daily field operations.
  • Working alongside construction crews onsite to gain practical construction experience.
  • Learning and utilizing industry-leading software such as HCSS HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and Primavera.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
  • Work on active construction projects with experienced project teams.
  • Gain exposure to field operations, project management, estimating, scheduling, safety, and quality control.
  • Participate in professional development and networking opportunities.
  • Receive mentorship from industry leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Build technical and leadership skills through real-world project assignments.
