About The Position
NV5 is seeking Construction Inspectors to work on various roadway and bridge infrastructure projects in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. This role requires a NICET II minimum or equivalent, with 2 years of experience on similar construction projects. Previous NYSDOT experience is a must, and OSHA & ACI certification is preferred.
Requirements
- Diploma or undergraduate degree in Engineering, and/or NICET II certification with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Previous NYSDOT experience.
Nice To Haves
- OSHA & ACI certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Inspect construction activities.
- Prepare daily Inspector reports.
- Confirm Contractor quantities.
- Ensure implementation of MPT.
