About The Position
As an Erling Construction Helper, you will work alongside your team to complete projects throughout the region. The role supports efficient on-site work while maintaining safety standards. Erling equips, builds, repairs, and maintains retail facilities for convenience-store operators and related businesses, with expertise in fuel systems and a growing range of equipment and mechanical-system services. The company operates primarily in the eastern half of Texas.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting toward established objectives.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to work professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Functional computer skills.
- Aptitude for mechanical, electrical, and construction-related work.
- Ability to perform physical labor daily in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior construction experience.
- Experience with petroleum dispensers and equipment, including Wayne, Gilbarco, Veeder Root, and Verifone.
Responsibilities
- Complete duties outlined by the direct manager.
- Maintain equipment on customer sites.
- Represent Erling by keeping a clean uniform and vehicle.
