About The Position
MUZA Sheet Metal is hiring a Construction General Laborer / Pre-Apprentice to support shop and field work. No experience is required; training and tools are provided. The role offers the ability to transition into the company’s apprenticeship program. Work includes assisting sheet metal journeymen and apprentices, fabricating and assembling sheet metal products, maintaining the shop and jobsites, and installing exterior sheet metal on new construction projects.
Requirements
- High school diploma or HSED, required for the apprenticeship.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic and attendance.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
Nice To Haves
- Sheet metal experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist sheet metal journeymen and apprentices with daily duties in the shop and on jobsites.
- Assemble and fabricate flashing, panels, and ductwork.
- Clean and perform daily maintenance of the shop and jobsite.
- Use power tools and hand tools daily.
- Install exterior sheet metal on new construction builds.
- Assist with building maintenance.
- Cut, measure, bend, and assemble sheet metal.
- Assist with shop fabrication and field installations at job sites.
