About The Position

Cennox is hiring a Construction Site Foreman to work in the Houston, Texas area on commercial construction and renovation projects for financial institutions. The role manages projects onsite and requires construction experience, the ability to work without direct supervision, strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to organize work using Microsoft Office tools. The Foreman supports smooth day-to-day communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal staff. Work is performed onsite at night and on weekends.

Requirements

At least 2 years of construction management experience.
At least 2 years in a proven leadership or supervisory role.
Clean driving motor vehicle and background checks covering the past 18 years.
No DUI within the past 7 years.
Complete a new-hire drug screen.
Comfort reading and understanding blueprints and drawings.
Reliable transportation and flexible work hours.
Availability to work after hours at night and on weekends.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Organizational and multitasking skills.
High attention to detail.

Experience with interior finishes.

Responsibilities

Conduct site surveys to determine initial project plans with Superintendents and Project Managers.
Ensure material orders, equipment deliveries, and inspections support the project schedule.
Maintain job-site safety and manage compliance with company safety policies.
Review and manage project plans, specifications, and manufacturer data, and execute work based on those documents.
Review construction documents for completeness and constructability.
Manage project and three-week look-ahead schedules, work with master schedules, and update them weekly.
Generate Requests for Information (RFIs) to clarify discrepancies and ensure project documents are complete.
Work with the project team to follow the company quality-control program.
Conduct preconstruction planning meetings.
Lead onsite meetings with subcontractors and construction-trade leads to communicate work scope and quality expectations.
Manage subcontractors performing work onsite.
Keep the job site organized and clean, and meet waste-disposal and environmental-protection standards.
Track site progress, take progress photos, and report subcontractor onsite labor hours using a phone app.
