About The Position

The Construction Field Technology Engineer can be based out the following offices: Memphis, TN, Springdale, Arkansas, Tulsa, OK, Oklahoma City, and Austin, TX. This role involves performing data collection using LiDAR scanners, UAV, and 360 cameras, as well as field layout and verification using innovative technologies. The engineer will verify subcontractor and self-perform layout, follow safety procedures, and utilize independent judgment and problem-solving skills. Good communication is essential for articulating challenges, potential reality capture use-cases, and success stories to internal and external clients. The role also serves as an ambassador for CFT efforts and services, collaborating with project teams.

Requirements

• Able to read and understand construction documents, shop drawings and plans
• Must be dependable and responsible
• Have the ability to quickly learn new hardware/software tools and teach others
• Minimum 3+ years relevant construction experience
• Experience in construction layout or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with construction management applications such as Bluebeam, Procore or similar systems
• Experience with VDC technology such as Revit, AutoCAD or similar software

Nice To Haves

• Preferred knowledge of/experience with: LiDAR hardware/software, robotic total stations, surveying
• Past reality capture a plus
• OSHA 10 hour or 30 hour preferred
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot license is a plus

Responsibilities
