About The Position

Estimators provide technical estimation of electrical projects from bid preparation through job close out documentation to the customer. Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy. Employees | Value | Execution | Relationships.

Requirements

• A working knowledge of electrical construction and theory at a level normally acquired through completion of an electrical training program, two-year technical or business degree or related field; and 5 years' experience as an electrical estimator.
• Excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Demonstrated conceptual estimates and financial analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Required to maintain a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Construction management degree.
• Experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Quantity takeoff.
• Quantity takeoff entry into estimating software.
• Solicitation and review vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Review current material pricing levels.
• Review and estimate addenda as required.
• Visit site and/or attend site walk meeting.
• Review bid/construction schedule.
• Draft and submit proposal documents.
• Follow post bid closeout procedures.
• Attend weekly estimating team meetings.
• Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
