The Manager in our Application Consulting practice helps construction clients make better decisions about enterprise applications, especially ERP. This is a client ‑ facing role focused on software advisory and implementation advisory, including application assessments, roadmaps, ERP selection, and integration considerations for related systems. The Manager leads or partners with senior leaders and subject ‑ matter experts as needed to align technology decisions with real business needs and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional maturity and judg e ment, with the ability to manage client expectations and work independently on defined engagements.
  • Experience participating in or leading technology assessments, software selections, and/or construction related technology implementations.
  • Demonstrated consulting fundamentals, including structured problem solving, stakeholder communication, and independent execution within established frameworks.
  • Strength in at least two of the following areas, with the expectation to develop the third over time : ERP assessment, selection , and/or implementation experience Construction industry knowledge (operations and financial concepts) Consulting practice leadership and e xecutive level communication

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ERP adjacent construction systems (e.g., construction management, HRIS, payroll), especially where integration impacts outcomes.
  • Exposure to change enablement practices as part of technology or process initiatives.
  • Prior experience mentoring or managing team members.

Responsibilities

  • Turn client goals into clear, practical technology requirements and application choices that fit how construction teams actually work
  • Help senior leaders understand options and trade offs , and how technology supports growth and strategy.
  • Manage engagements and deliver work that meets agreed scope, quality standards, and client expectations.
  • Use sound judgment and problem solving skills to identify root issues, challenge assumptions, and move work forward with limited direction.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with construction leaders, keeping technology discussions focused on business outcomes rather than products.
  • Take ownership, manage multiple priorities, and bring a proactive, growth oriented mindset grounded in quality, integrity, and client service.
