About The Position
Balfour Beatty Infrastructure is seeking motivated college students pursuing degrees in engineering, construction management, or related disciplines for its summer 2027 internship program. Interns gain hands-on, real-world experience alongside experienced construction professionals and are exposed to the planning, engineering, and construction activities involved in complex infrastructure projects. Internship opportunities may involve project engineering, field engineering, construction management, estimating, scheduling and project controls, safety, quality, cost management, or project administration.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Interest in heavy civil construction and infrastructure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn in both office and field environments.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- A proactive, safety-focused mindset.
Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on experience alongside experienced construction professionals.
- Participate in the planning, engineering, and construction activities for infrastructure projects.
- Work in one or more potential internship areas: project engineering, field engineering, construction management, estimating, scheduling and project controls, safety, quality, cost management, or project administration.
