The Construction Electronics Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and performing board‑level repairs on construction and survey GPS equipment. The individual in this role ensures all new equipment is fully functional prior to deployment, including software configuration and firmware installation. The technician also provides front‑line customer support, manages equipment logistics, and assists walk‑in and phone customers.

Requirements

  • Must be able to install and configure firmware and software
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Basic computer skills for tracking, documentation, and software loading
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced technical environment
  • Must have good troubleshooting skills and have good mechanic aptitude
  • Must be proficient with MS-Office products
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be a self-directed and well organized with the ability to prioritize workload
  • Must have an excellent driving record
  • Must be willing to travel and work additional hours as needed to meet business and customer demands

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with GPS, surveying, or construction technology equipment, preferred
  • Experience in electronics troubleshooting and/or mechanical service repairs

Responsibilities
