Requirements

Capable: Can safely lift up to 75 pounds, work from ladders and scaffolding, and perform physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Previous construction or carpentry experience is preferred, but we're happy to train someone with the right attitude and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

Build your skills while performing hands-on carpentry work, including framing, roofing, siding, window installation, trim work, painting, and other phases of construction.
Work alongside experienced craftsmen to complete projects with quality workmanship and attention to GHL Construction's standards.
Assist the foreman with daily construction activities on residential new construction and remodeling projects.
Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment to keep projects moving efficiently.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site by following established safety practices and identifying potential hazards.
Travel to project sites throughout the Berks County area, starting and ending each workday at our Bernville shop.
Learn new techniques and expand your construction knowledge through on-the-job training and a variety of residential building projects.
