About The Position

The Construction Coordinator is a headquarters-based execution partner for the build-out of new Lava Island parks. This role is responsible for managing the paperwork, orders, and logistics that keep construction projects on track, ensuring a smooth process for the field teams. The position requires a high level of organization, comfort with technology, proactive communication, and a service-oriented mindset. Success in this role means that builds remain organized and the field team can focus on construction without administrative hurdles.

Requirements

  • Five or more years in project coordination, construction administration, operations administration, or a comparable execution-focused role with heavy documentation discipline.
  • A track record of running multiple concurrent projects or workstreams without losing items in the shuffle.
  • Working proficiency with construction project management software; Procore experience strongly preferred, willingness to become a Procore power user required.
  • Working knowledge of project or workflow tools (Monday, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar).
  • Strong written communication skills for contracts, vendor correspondence, and status updates.
  • Experience working with vendors, subcontractors, or suppliers in an administrative or transactional capacity.
  • Must pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience coordinating travel and accommodations for field-based or traveling staff.
  • Experience in commercial construction administration, retail or hospitality rollouts, or multi-site expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Run construction administration, including sending and tracking subcontractor and vendor contracts, processing subcontractor pay applications, and managing RFIs, submittents, and project documentation in Procore.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for the status of contracts, orders, receipts, and outstanding items for each park build.
  • Coordinate travel and logistics for field staff, including booking hotels and accommodations, administering travel allowances and per diems, and adjusting bookings as schedules change.
  • Handle procurement by placing and tracking orders, coordinating with the warehouse for internally stocked items, confirming delivery completeness, and resolving issues with missing, damaged, or incorrect shipments.
  • Ensure builds stay organized and support the field team by managing administrative and logistical tasks.
