Stantec’s Texas Transportation team is seeking a Construction and Bridge Inspection Technician or Engineer to support our Bridge and Roadway Construction Inspection Team. You will utilize your expertise and technical knowledge of construction inspection, construction field management, QA/QC, construction oversight and report client-required documentation on various roadway construction and/or reconstruction projects. The current project need is located in the North Fort Worth area, with future projects potentially throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area. This position will also entail inspection of bridges, tunnels and bridge class culverts on highways throughout Texas and the United States according to: National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS), 23 CFR Part 650 Subpart C. Inspection of Fracture Critical Bridge Members (Report No. FHWA-IP-86-26). AASHTO Manual for Bridge Element Inspection. Recording and Coding Guide for the Structure Inventory and Appraisal of the Nation’s Bridges. Specifications for the National Bridge Inventory (SNBI).
