About The Position

COMANCO is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Construction Administrator to support our estimating and operations teams. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with documentation and data, and takes pride in maintaining accuracy, organization, and compliance with established procedures. As a Construction Administrator, you will play a critical support role by organizing bid documents, maintaining project records, updating databases, processing information, and ensuring all required documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time. Your work will help support project pursuits and operations by ensuring important information is organized, accessible, and properly communicated. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys working with data, documents, and established processes, has exceptional attention to detail, and can manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of professional experience in an administrative, project support, document control, compliance, construction administration, or similar detail-intensive role.
  • High-volume data entry and data management
  • Document control and records management
  • Process compliance and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Construction bid administration and project support
  • Managing multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication
  • Cross-functional team collaboration
  • Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel proficiency
  • Learning and utilizing company-specific software systems

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting construction, engineering, architecture, manufacturing, legal, financial, or other documentation-driven industries is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain construction bid documentation.
  • Update project and client databases.
  • Coordinate the flow of information between departments.
  • Ensure required documents are properly filed and tracked.
  • Maintain bid schedules.
  • Request and organize plans and specifications.
  • Distribute project information to internal teams.
  • Process bid addendums.
  • Update subcontractor and plan holder databases.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of bid packages.
  • Coordinate bid bonds, certificates of insurance, prequalification packages, and other documentation required for project pursuits.
  • Update company qualification packages, project resumes, and client information.
  • Research upcoming project opportunities and providing relevant information to leadership and estimating teams.
