About The Position

Reporting to the Director D365 BC, the Finance Functional Consultant, Microsoft BC is a key member of our Microsoft practice team. As a strategic partner, your expertise will be essential in supporting our clients in the successful deployment of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) solution. Recognized expert in financial and accounting modules, you will leverage your in-depth knowledge of Business Central, particularly in Finance and General Accounting, Sales, Planning, Production Control, Procurement, Inventory Management, Product Information Management, and Warehouse Management. Your expertise will translate into direct added value for optimizing our clients' processes. Your mission consists of: Business Knowledge & Operational Excellence Lead the implementation and configuration of financial modules in Business Central, ensuring compliance with industry best practices. Analyze client business processes to propose optimal and innovative solutions, guaranteeing the achievement of expected results. Collaboration and Team Spirit Work closely with clients, developers, analysts, testers, and project managers for successful deployments. Actively participate in design reviews and internal meetings, contributing to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Creativity and Innovation Autonomously solve complex financial challenges within Business Central, designing and proposing creative and effective solutions. Bring new ideas during workshops and discussions to foster innovation in our approaches and client solutions.

Requirements

  • University degree in accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Dynamics 365 Business Central functional analysis or 5 years in Dynamics NAV functional analysis.
  • Proven experience in implementation and migration projects, as well as post-implementation support.
  • Proficiency in Dynamics 365 Business Central financial modules (Finance, General Accounting, Sales, Planning, Production Control, Procurement, Inventory Management, Product Information Management, Warehouse Management).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • General Accounting (GL); Accounts Receivable (AR) and Payable (AP); Treasury and cash flow management; Fixed assets and depreciation; Budgets and reporting;
  • Analytical and multi-dimensional accounting.; Integration with the supply chain: financial impacts of orders, inventory, and production; Project management and costs related to project accounting.
  • Understanding of local and international accounting standards (IFRS, ASPE);
  • Good oral and written communication skills, in French and English, to communicate with clients located across North America.
  • Communication with management and operational teams; Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; Training and user support.
