About The Position

GardaWorld Aviation is looking for a dynamic and action-oriented Internal Communications Advisor to support employee communications within its aviation industry operations. As an individual contributor, this person will help develop and implement internal communication plans to engage frontline and corporate employees, strengthen organizational culture, support operational priorities, and increase understanding of the company's goals and initiatives. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer and communicator who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and can transform complex business information into clear and engaging communications for diverse audiences across multiple sites and functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally including experience in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English.
  • Excellent business acumen, as well as strong storytelling and summarization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate persuasively and diplomatically.
  • Attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Viva Connections, and Viva Engage.
  • Experience with mass internal email communication tools.
  • High adaptability, flexibility, and autonomy to meet organizational needs.
  • Positive attitude, professional maturity, and the ability to act as a mobilizing force.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of internal communication plans aligned with GardaWorld Aviation's business objectives and strategy.
  • Write and manage high-quality communication content, including management messages, operational updates, announcements, newsletters, and intranet content.
  • Act as a communications advisor to operational and corporate leaders regarding messaging, employee engagement, and change communication.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Operations, and Management teams to support company initiatives and employee programs.
  • Support the planning and execution of communications related to organizational changes, major initiatives, and business updates.
  • Ensure consistency of messages, tone, and branding across all internal communication channels.
  • Develop effective communication materials for frontline employees and airport employees, including those without a computer workstation.
  • Measure the effectiveness of communications using employee feedback, engagement metrics, and analytics, and recommend continuous improvements.
  • Support executive communications, including town halls, leadership presentations, internal talking points, and executive messages.
  • Foster employee engagement by highlighting corporate culture, employee recognition, health and safety initiatives, and operational successes.
  • Maintain a good understanding of operational priorities and emerging issues to anticipate communication needs.
